Dorsey Gardens is a hip and cool boutique guesthouse with two-bedroom apartmnts. Each suite has its own personality. Most other affordable places try to squeeze four people in a one-bedroom unit. Our most common compliment is how clean and comfortable our places are and at a very good rate.

When you stay with us, you're three minutes from I-95, three minutes from entertainment districts, 10 minutes to the beach... we are affordable, downtown and right in the middle of it all.

Absolutely! We have had many guests stay several months or even years (like Irie's parents). If you are interested in a long term stay, just reach out and contact us about our favorable rates and availability.

Yes. We would't get such high rankings if it wasn't a safe neighborhood. Historic Dorsey Riverbend is an established neighborhood where everybody knows everybody and everybody loves what we've done with our building. This is south Florida, so watch yourself no matter what neighborhood you're in.

The Dorsey Gardens Guesthouse is sandwiched between a gothic church, a history museum and an elemntary school. The neighborhood is packed with history and very well established houses of worship. We liek to say we're on Sacred Ground.

We like to think it's the enormous amount of natural light flooding the place, the original artwork, the elegant tile work, custom doors and woodwork and the meticulous attention to detail. Oh, and our affordable rates and personal service! We are there for you.

Yes it is. We feature original art from local artsists mostly. Every piece has a story how it came into our collection. You won't find any cheesy decor from the discount store at our place!

OK, we ask that you do your dishes and take out the garbage. That's it! And please don't forget any personal items. If you do, we are happy to ship them to you.

Yes. We suggest no more than four guests at a time and remember, all unregistered guests should be out by 10 pm (A little later is fine of you're quiet!)

The Broward County Convention Center is about 15 minutes away by car. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is approximately 12–15 minutes away, making arrivals and departures easy.

Absolutely! We love hosting dinner parties. The kitchens are fully stocked with cooking tools, starter spices and food containers. If there is ever enything you need, just ask!

Yes. Complimentary parking is available for all guests. There are spaces on the property at either end of the building and also there is unrestricted street parking directly in front of the building.

Yes,. You can expect a 2-BR apartment with one queen bed and two single beds. This configuration is rare and ideal for groups who do not all want to share a bed.

Nearby options include Walmart, Winn-Dixie, The Fresh Market, Whole Foods (near the airport), and Trader Joe's (approximately 12 minutes away).

Yes. Each suite includes high-speed WiFi and a dedicated workspace and the good-ol' kitchen table, making it ideal for remote workers and digital nomads. We hope our free Disney+ and Netflix won't distract you too much!

Yes. The two downstairs units: Garden Suite and Irie Suite allow pets. Your small dog will love sniffing around in the garden. Please, pick up the poop!

Yes, upon request and subject to availability. Please reach out within 48 hours before arrival so the team can do their best to accommodate your request.

Check-in is seamless and contactless. You'll receive a unique door code before your arrival so you can head straight to your suite any time after check-in opens—no front desk required.

Yes. Las Olas Boulevard is approximately a 15 minute walk or a very short rideshare away. It's one of Fort Lauderdale's most vibrant streets with restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, and cafés.

Not necessarily. Uber and Lyft are readily available, the Brightline train station is within walking distance, and the Ride Circuit app offers free electric rides around the local area. There are many city bus lines running very near the guest house and entertainment and shopping are about a 15 minute walk.

Yes and No! Ours is a quiet building and we do not allow guests or noise after 10pm. We suggest enjoyng Fort Luderdale's many great party spots and then come back to our place to relax.

Dorsey Gardens is approximately 10 minutes by car from Fort Lauderdale Beach (about 3 miles away). You can also grab a rideshare or download the free Ride Circuit app and skip the hassle of parking on the beach.
